Disco Daddy parties contain loud music, noisy children, screams and cheers. Just saying....

Securing a booking

Booking Sheets must be signed and returned within 14 days of being issued to you. Until payment is received by us, your booking will not be secured. Contracts not received within this time may render the booking cancelled and Disco Daddy reserves the right to accept another booking for this date. Disco Daddy is booked for entertainment only as advised, not venue booking, food etc. Disco Daddy is not a childcare and not responsible for any children.

Client Cancellations and Client Liability

In circumstances where the client cancels the contract, payment is non-refundable.

In the unlikely event Disco Daddy is delayed or unable from starting a performance due to events beyond our control (Client Requirements, Traffic, weather, Force Majeure), the client is still liable for the full outstanding balance – the time slot booked remains.

All reasonable precautions are taken to safeguard the client with regard to equipment or power failure.  Should loss of performance occur as a result of either of these, Disco Daddy shall be under no liability as a result. We retain the right to cancel the disco party and give NO refund should we discover that the venue is unsuitable or that access is not allowed or is dangerous in any way (Either at the venue or travel to the venue) - even on the day of your party... Disco Daddy is not responsible for any power failure at the venue.

Disco Daddy and Cancellations

If there is ever an occasion where Disco Daddy must cancel a booking due to personal circumstances (Accident, illness, breakdown etc.) we will attempt to provide a substitute entertainer if possible but cannot guarantee this – if this cannot be achieved the amount paid will be refunded.

Good Conduct

The client is responsible for the conduct of their guests.  If at any time during the event, the Disco Daddy considers their equipment or person to be under threat, either verbally or physically, Disco Daddy reserves the to terminate the contract without notice.  No refund will be made to the client in these circumstances.

Extensions

The client may request an extension to the agreed playing time at the Disco Daddy’s discretion in accordance with the following:
An agreement is sought by the client, from the owner/manager of the venue
Overtime fee is paid before the contracted finish time.

Access to Venue

Disco Daddy requires up to 30 minutes to set up prior to the event and to pack up after the event.  Clients should inform Disco Daddy if the venue is not located on the ground floor to allow a longer set up/break down period for transport of equipment.

Health and Safety

It is the client's responsibility to ensure the venue has an up to date fire certificate and to familiarise themselves with the venues safety procedures which should then be relayed to Disco Daddy upon arrival.

Miscellaneous

The hirer must ensure that the venue has suitably earthed electric supplies that will not carry any malfunction or damage the equipment. (A double or two single sockets nearby are required as a minimum)

No responsibility for damage, personal injury and non-fulfilment will be taken on by Disco Daddy, but every safeguard/attempt is assured. It is the responsibility of the Booker/Hirer to inform of any restrictions, i.e. Noise Limiters - Time Restrictions - Smoke Detectors, Public Entertainments Licence etc.

We cannot be held responsible for children, guests or the staff being hurt or damage to clothes when near or touching any part of the equipment.  We cannot be responsible for guests suffering from any illness or allergy. We cannot guarantee to have every song requested. The client host on the booking form is responsible at all times for the general supervision of children within the party venue, for the supervision of exits, and for ensuring that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian. The responsibility for the safety of all guests is left with the Client hosting the party. Photos may be used for marketing purposes.

COVID-19

For existing bookings - To help I have no problem rescheduling your party due to COVID-19 restrictions at a time and date suitable for both of us...or you could have a zoom party, or there is always next year (which because of existing bookings and this current situation is filling quite quickly) - this means you don’t lose your payment

For new bookings - If for any reason we are not able to have the party due to COVID-19 restrictions I would reschedule at a date to suit you to ensure that your booking payment is not lost so fair to both of us (Or we could always have a zoom party)

For any party you are responsible for all health and safety aspects of the venue and all guests. This includes (but not limited to) social distance measures, sanitising, access etc
